4/20 San Jacinto Eve Update

Since y'all will all be off work tomorrow for San Jacinto Day I wanted to sneak in a mid-day update. At Trendmaker Homes we celebrate our Texas independence by working a little harder that day. :-) If you do not believe this is an important holiday ask your kids if they think they should celebrate with a school holiday tomorrow.

Carissa is still stable and...wait for it...wait for it...was absolutely, positively described as heading in a positive direction. By no means are we out of the woods. We may not even see the edge of the woods. The Great Physician does have our compass bearing and we are headed in the right direction.

Carissa was getting a plasma transfusion when we just left her. They are turning down the strength on the ventilator and there is talk of being able to remove it at some point in the near future when she keeps moving in the right direction.

Carissa opened her eyes more on this visit than she has cumulatively in all the other visits. She kept wondering why this pretty lady and this goofy dude keep staring at me and looking really happy at me.

Please keep praying for Pamela and our wisdom in matching visits with Mom's recovery time. Understandably she wants to be at Carissa's side at all times but that is not the best thing for Mom's continued recovery right now and it is tough for Mom to focus on Mom getting well as a priority. It looks like a good chance Pamela may be discharged tomorrow and that is a little concerning for her

Thank God for the steps he has allowed Carissa Faith to take and please keep interceding for her. We look very forward to the time when she can thank God for all of your prayers and turn the intercession back your way.

Yours and His
Terry
