I am pretty sure Dr. Johnson was waiting outside our room until I hit the send button on the last update and then he came in with some more details that hopefully you will make time to pray about for us.
Dr. Baker will be in Friday to start evaluating and likely acting on Pamela's blood issues. We are grateful that Dr. Mahoney, the pediatric hematologist looking at our daughter's blood, was curious enough to look at some of Pamela's peripheral blood cells today and recommended getting an adult hematologist involved.
Also starting Friday will be a treatment based around the letters IVGG headed up by Dr. Carpenter. This is to treat the low platelet count in our daughter. They definitely want to try to address this before the planned transfusion next Tuesday.
